LOOPING DVD

 Open DVD Studio Pro

File>Import>Asset (select your exported video file)
Drag your video down into the time-line

In the Graphical Tab select and delete the Menu
In the Graphical Tab Control or right click on the Track 1 icon and select "1st Play"
In the Connections Tab Under Targets Column, click and drag Track 1 into the Target column next to End Jump

To test you DVD, click on the Simulate icon and you video should start playing in the viewing screen.

To finish, click on Build/Format
Name your disk with your name
Under Current Build > Choose/make a folder for the DVD scripting to be saved
Under Destination make sure to check Lossless Linking
You must insert a blank DVD-R into the computer before selecting the "Build and Burn" button

Test your DVD on your computer and/or a DVD player before turning it in

Batch Process images in Photoshop

1. File > Image Processor
2. Setting should be JPG or TIFF at 720 X 480 or what ever video format you are working with

Import images with FCP 

1. File > import  - choose image or a folder of images to import


Note - if you import psd files (photoshop files with layers) the layers will come in as separate video tracks in a sequence. This might be good and might not be depending on what you are wanting to do.

Also - TIFF files can retain areas of transparency if saved correctly. This might be useful.


Capture Video With FCP 

1. plug in firewire cord to camera

2. plug in firewire cord to computer

3. start final cut pro

4. Go to File > Log and Capture

5. Click on the "clip settings" tab in the log and capture screen and make sure both video and audio are selected

6. Select the Logging tab and name your video in the description field

7. cue up your piece either using the camera's playback control or the controls on the Log and Capture screen. The computer can control the camera.

8. Select the "now" button under "capture" in the Log and Capture window

9. Press play on your camera (you could also press Play under the preview display and then select "NOW")

10. press escape on you computer when you are done capturing

11. Your clip is now in your browser window. Click and drag it down to your timeline
