Project 4: Experiment Video

For project 4, I altered my original idea from a surveillance type video due to technical issues to a "semi-narrative" type video. My video project focuses on the simplest aspects of our day to day lives by zooming in on one of the five senses, touch. I feel that my particular video relates to the fluxus movement because of its simplicity and charge to use everyday items to portray an idea that everyone is familiar with. I chose to use my hand, as well as, another person's hand to show the connection that we all have with the sense of touch. This video can be seen as a story starting from waking up to returning home to a night's rest. All in all, this short video entails my day to day life with "TOUCH." This video is one that I intend to resubmit because of the technical issues I faced and I would also like to continue working on this piece after the semester is over because when I thought about the different things we touch on a daily basis I became really fascinated and wanted to explore this phenomenon a little further.
