Project 1 Montage

 For project one I based my montage on photos I took inside of my apartment. I wanted to play with the idea of sounds and color creating emotion. The montage plays on the idea of anticipation but doesn't really tell you what occurred,leaving room for assumptions. I changed all the photos by cropping, adding black and white contrast, and to a vertical position.  I used repetition in many of the photos to emphasize on certain things like the importance of doors in the montage and to spark the idea of anticipation by using shots of the cell phone. The climax occurs when I show a picture of my foot with a woman's scream, this is followed by heavy panting and running. I chose to use sound because I felt it would provoke more emotion in viewers rather than being soundless. All in all, this montage is my "homelike" rendition of CSI.
